Chondola opening at Sunday River!
The grand opening for Sunday River's Chondola happened on Saturday evening. Governor John Baldacci came with his giant scissors and cut the ribbon. The grand opening kicked off the resorts new night skiing offerings. I can't wait for the fresh powder days turning into powder nights! Yippie!
I hopped into the very first Chondola with these dudes. They were pumped! They had waited three hours to have the honor of getting in the first car. I hopped in at the last minute, flashing my press pass and my fancy camera. :)
They did a snowmobile and groomer salute to the new lift. Very cool.
